Laser Hair Removal

How it Works

Our laser hair removal uses IPL (Intense Pulse Light) technology to target the pigment in the hair follicle to minimize and eliminate hair regrowth. The laser is attracted to the dark pigment of the hair, and the intense heat of the laser damages the hair follicle, inhibiting future hair growth. This is normally most effective on those with lighter skin and dark hair.

For best results, we typically recommend 6-8 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart.

During the appointment

We quickly cleanse the area, apply cooling gel & perform the treatment.
Our laser has a very effective integrated cooling tip, to help keep things comfortable.

Total Duration: 15-60 minutes

Post-Treatment Instructions

Avoid using exfoliants on the area for 3 days before the treatment.

Please shave the area to be treated within 12-24h of your appointment.

Please ensure that the area to be treated hasn't been in the sun (this includes sunless tanning lotions and spray tans) for AT LEAST 2 weeks prior to treatment

You may experience some redness in the treatment area that should resolve within a few hours.

Avoid heavy sweating, hot tubs and pools for 24h.

If your skin appears red or swollen (sunburn sensation), a cold compress or ice pack can be used to provide comfort, as well as Vitamin E or Aloe Vera applied to the treatment area. In rare cases, oral pain relievers (i.e. Tylenol or Advil) may be used.

While your skin is healing, avoid anything that will irritate the skin such as exfoliants, shaving, very hot or cold water.
